Ivey has always had a passion for the visual arts. Growing up she was involved in tap, jazz, and drama productions. It wasn’t until her sophomore year of high school that she discovered she was better behind the camera rather than in front of it. By the time she graduated high school she was the president of the film club, had done the editing for all of the school’s major choir and drama productions as well as a number of short films and numerous film festivals. After high school she went to trade school where she studied the art of Post Production for tv and film. After moving to Reno, she has used her experience to create a number of shorts and feature films while working in entertainment at a number of different venues in and around Reno. Now she runs Reno’s 48 Hour Film Project and is the CEO and Owner of Malevolent Mouse Productions LLC.
